A former denizen of Washington, D.C., Annie brings her policy experience to bear at Scoville through her ability to understand the needs of clients and to craft a message that will resonate across different platforms and audiences.
Her attention to detail ensures that no stone (or pebble) remains unturned and helps Scoville run like a well-oiled machine. Prior to Scoville, Annie worked in energy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a foreign policy think tank in Washington, DC. While there, she provided research and analysis on a wide range of energy issues including frontier technologies and European energy issues. Her experience fueled her obsession with clean technology and urban innovation and (appropriately) sharpened her thinking skills.
Annie received her BA from Hamilton College in upstate New York, where she focused on national identity issues and language studies. Both her studies and her childhood in Europe have inspired her dedication to traveling, resulting in frequent trips across the European continent and beyond. When not traveling or nerding out about energy issues, Annie can be found curled up with a novel, attending a poetry slam or keeping her fingers crossed for snow.
